Charles Lyle White, Jr.

Charles Lyle White Jr., 64, of Lawrence passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, in Arlington Township.

Charles was born June 19, 1950, in Kalamazoo, the son of Charles Sr. and Patricia (Teachout) White, both of whom preceded him in passing. He was also preceded in passing by a brother, David White.

Charles was a carpenter by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball and, most important, spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.

Charles is survived by three sons: Chuck White and Danny (Dana) White, both of Lawrence; and John (Patty) Brink of Hartford; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Ken (Shirley) White of Three Rivers; and a sister, Barbara Cobb of Allegan.

The family will welcome friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where the service to honor his memory will begin at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence.
