Charles Ray Mcconnell

Charles Ray McConnell, 62, of Watervliet died Tuesday, Oct.13, 2015 at home.

He was born in Watervliet on June 25, 1953. He grew up in Keeler and attended Hartford Public Schools. In his younger years, he loved to fish and hunt with his brother, Tom.

He is survived by his mother, Tinnie (Miller) McConnell of Saint Joseph; two children, Judy Angela Schmidt of Hartford and Derrick Ray McConnell of Jackson; a grandson, Bailey Hunter Schmidt of Watervliet; and three sisters, Shebby Hand of Saint Joseph, Barbara Roush of Ocala, Fla., and Anita Bard of Jonesboro, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen James McConnell; two brothers, Bobby Joe McConnell and Thomas James McConnell; and three sisters, Loretta Mesick, Betty Bitely and Cynthia Glenn.
