Bruce Albert Varnau

Bruce Albert Varnau passed away suddenly at the age of 62 on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph. Bruce was born March 18, 1955, in Watervliet, the son of Albert and Geraldine (Edwards) Varnau, both of whom precede him in passing.

Bruce graduated from Hartford High School in 1973 and was formerly employed with Walmart of Benton Harbor.

Bruce is survived by three sisters: Deborah (Randy) Cuthbert of Cassopolis, Janis (Charlie) Jaynes and Paula Picone both of Mattoon, Ill. He is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, four great nephews and many loving cousins and friends.

The family will welcome friends from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where a memorial service to honor Bruce's memory will commence at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Ben Cuthbert officiating.
