Brian Duane Cooley

Brian Duane Cooley, 45 of Decatur, passed away suddenly Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at home.

Brian was born Jan. 10, 1971 in Kalamazoo, the son of Duane Cooley and Judy Roach.

Brian is survived by a son, Cody Cooley of Decatur; a daughter, Nycole Cooley of Paw Paw; his mother, Judy Roach of Paw Paw; brother, Dennis (Lisa) Cooley of Battle Creek; two sisters: April (Tom) Shugars of Kalamazoo and Tammy (Robert) Cooley-Phelps of Portage; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his long time girlfriend, Liwana Shugars of Decatur.

Brian was preceded in passing by his father, Duane Cooley; step-father, Billy Roach; grandparents: Earl Wellington and Lucille Wellington; two uncles: Terry Wellington and Bob Calbert and two aunts: Lena Pelletier and Florence Vandis.

Brian has been cremated. A memorial service to honor his memory will commence at 3 P.M.; Saturday, Nov. 12 at the First Church of God, Decatur.
