Bonnie Lee Boyer

April 6, 1933 — March 29, 2022

Bonnie Lee Boyer was born April 6, 1933, and lived the first 18 years of her life in New Troy, Mich. She married Norman Lyle Boyer, Jr., on July 7, 1951, and moved to the family farm in Lawrence, Mich. There, she raised four children. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, rarely missing a school program, a ball game, or dance recital.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Rex Moore; father, Lee Moore; mother, Bernice; and step-father, James Novak. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Norman Lyle Boyer, Jr.; children: Deborah (Lamarr) Edwards, Teresa (Jack) Tolmosoff, Darlene (Craig) Wallace, and Morgan Boyer. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie passed peacefully on March 29, 2022, just shy of her 89th birthday. She will be greatly missed by the many who knew her. She loved nothing better than sitting with folks over a cup of coffee and giving them a hard time.
