Bobby Joe Allen Townley, Sr.

Bobby Joe Allen Townley Sr., 70, of Stevensville passed away suddenly Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at his home.

Bobby was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Mobile, Ala., the son of Grover and Quillie (Jackson) Townley, both of whom preceded him in passing. Also preceding him in passing were a son, Bobby Townley Jr.; a daughter, Linda Zuhl; a granddaughter, Amanda Starner; a grandson, Bobby III; a brother, Bill Townley; and a sister, Peggy Trowbridge.

Bobby is survived by two sons, Kenny (Molly) Townley of Mishawaka, Ind., and Elvis Townley of Niles; a grandson, Kenny Townley Jr. of Mishawaka; and two granddaughters, Katie Gilliam of Coloma and Kayla.

Bobby owned and operated Townley Roofing and Construction Co. for a number of years. His passion for music was displayed in his talented guitar playing. He loved playing and listening to country music, watching cooking shows and the Weather Channel.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, where the service to honor his memory will commence at 2.
