Billy Dale Everett, 85, of Hartford passed away on Nov. 28, 2021 in Indianapolis.
Billy was born in Arkansas to Widney and Opal Everett on Sept. 9, 1936. He went to school in Hartford. He married Ruth Everett on April 18, 1959. He worked as a toll technician for AT&T Phone Company for over 30 years. Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, an avid bowler including bowling multiple 300 games and also heavily involved in the Sister Lakes Lions Club. In his younger years, he also helped initiate the Jaycees Club of Sister Lakes, Mich.
Billy is preceded in passing by his wife, Ruth Everett; and daughter, Julie Nyongesa (Everett).
Billy is survived by two sons: Steven A. (Sharon) Everett of Mountain View, Calif., and Timothy Wayne (Sandra) Everett of Campbell, Calif.; a son-in-law, Patrick Nyongesa of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.
The family will hold a graveside service to honor Billy’s memory at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, at Keeler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Billy’s name may be made to the Sister Lakes Lions Club, 66991 95th St., Dowagiac, MI 49047.
