Bettie Noble

Bettie Noble, 79, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, at her home in Hartford with her family surrounding her.

Bettie was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Paw Paw, to Delbert and Viola (Flanders) Branch. She was one of nine children. She married Jerry Noble Sr. on Jan. 24, 1958. Bettie was formerly employed as a basket weaver at a basket business in Paw Paw. She loved to crochet, and do all kinds of puzzle books. However, her most enjoyable moments were the times she spent with her family.

Bettie is survived by her two sons: Jerry Noble and Douglas (Connie) Noble both of Hartford; six grandchildren: Tabitha, Tiffany, Jamie, Christopher, Doug and Heather; nine great-grandchildren: Julius, Chase, Autumn, Savannah, Mary, Katie, Josiah, Douglas and Noah; and many step children and step grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Alice (John) Britan of Lawton; and many other family members and very close friends.

Her husband, Jerry precedes her in passing; along with a daughter, Christine Briggs; her parents; two sisters: Eva LaCourse and Minnie Branch and five brothers: Clarence, Jack, Bob, Art and Vernon Branch.

The family will welcome friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, followed by a graveside service at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Paw Paw.
