Barbara Lea Jacobo-Pavia

Barbara Lea Jacobo-Pavia was born Nov. 1, 1960, in South Haven, the daughter of Charles and Winnie (Bell) James, both of whom preceded her in passing. Also preceding her is Rita Ollis.

Barbara passed away at the age of 63 on Oct. 24, 2024, at her home in Hartford.

Barbara is survived by her three children: Brent Leffel, Bethany Ledesma and Brandy Hurley-Singh, all of Hartford; her grandchildren: Mikel Vanholt and Lottie Hurley; a lifelong friend, Bruce Reyes; and eight siblings: Charles James of Michigan, Rachel Hester of Missouri, Mary Gorman of Michigan, Perry Bammerlin of Arkansas, Charles James Jr., of New York, Larry James of Arkansas, Betty Bounds of Arkansas and Tracy Tabor of Arkansas; and many other family members and friends.
