Audrey Jane Wilson

Audrey Jane Wilson, 81, of Lawrence, passed away suddenly, Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at her home.

Audrey was born Oct. 18, 1933, in Allegan County, the daughter of Chester and Luella (VanRiper) Swisher, both of whom precede her in passing. She was also preceded by thirteen brothers and sisters; Kristina Willis and Margaret Wilson, granddaughters; Kinzie Carlsen, great-granddaughter; Gage Paul Bowmen, great grandson and Paul Haggard, son-in-law.

Audrey was a resident of southwestern Michigan her entire life. "Aunt Pat" was a mother to everyone she came in contact with. She loved watching television, especially her two favorite shows, "The Price is Right" and "The Young and the Restless".

Audrey is survived by Kenneth Wilson, Sr. and their nine children: Kenneth, Jr. (Penny) Wilson of Hartford, Marvin (Pam) Wilson of Berrien Springs, Shirley Haggard of Simmesport, La., Patty (Drew) Willis of Radcliff, Ky., Glenda (Neal) Edwards of Paw Paw, Mark (Laurie) Wilson of Lawrence, Marlene (Jerry) Brown of South Haven, Steve (Debbie) Wilson of Lawrence and Cecil (Kellie) Wilson of Watervliet. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; four sisters: Chub Pastrick and Josephine Stone, both of Hartford, Bell Gilbert of Watervliet and Sandy Swisher of Lake City and a brother, Art Swisher of Hartford.

The family will welcome friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford. The service to honor her memory will commence at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the funeral home.
