Anita Marie Jensen

Anita Marie Jensen was born on Nov. 15, 1930, in South Haven, Mich., the daughter of Lawrence and Violet (Tait) Allers.

Anita passed away, at the age of 93, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at her home in Hartford Township.

Anita is survived by her children: Janette Ashley, Lorre Darnell, Gregory Brady, and Steven (Dawn) Brady. She is survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; her step-children: Ronelle Jensen, Carla (Norman) Nelson, Brenda Bard; and a sister, Sandra Breed.

Anita was preceded in passing by a daughter, Katheryn Bauer; her first husband, John Drenten; her second husband, Richard Brady; her third husband, Ronald Jensen; her parents; and a brother, Ron Allers.

Anita retired from the State of Michigan, after nearly 30 years. She loved being around nature, hunting and gardening.

As to Anita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A committal service will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at the Watervliet City Cemetery. Pastor Lonnie Truelove officiating.
