Aaron Rexford Tio

Aaron R. Tio, 76, of Coloma went to be with the Lord early in the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at his home. He fought a hard battle with cancer and stayed positive and upbeat all the way until the end.

He was loved by many and respected by all with whom he came in contact. He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters) and a grandson, Alexxzander.

He leaves behind a brother, Jnoris Tio of Watervliet; his children: Michael Tio and Phillip (Nicole) Tio, both of Coloma; Krystal Tio of Missouri; and Brandon Tio of Coloma; two stepchildren, Stephanie Bailey and April White; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will welcome friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where the service to honor his memory will be at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Millburg Cemetery.
